When I saw a pin that showed you how to decorate your own bobby pins I was intrigued. As I have said before I am a self proclaimed cheapskate, and I know that the cute little colored bobby pins from Walmart go for about five bucks or more. I have two little girls that LOVE anything that has glitter on it, so I knew it was something that I had to try.
This was such an easy pin, that

I actually let my kids do it! They were very eager to paint their bobby pins with their favorite colors of nail polish, and of course cover them with glitter.
All together I have $0.97 (plus tax) for the bobby pins, and I used nail polish that I already had. I love that it is way more cost effective than $5.00+, and you can paint your hair accessories to match any outfit or to match you fingernails. They are easy to make, and you are only limited by your own creativity. It is almost fail proof. if you paint something you don’t like, just repaint it…In fact
the only way you can mess it up is if you put WAY to much paint on it and “glue” it to the paper/cardboard. (Be sure to wait till they are dry, cause nobody wants nail polish in there hair)
Thanks “Oh, hello blog” for the Idea!
