I actually let my kids do it! They were very eager to paint their bobby pins with their favorite colors of nail polish, and of course cover them with glitter.

The Verdict:

All together I have $0.97 (plus tax) for the bobby pins, and I used nail polish that I already had. I love that it is way more cost effective than $5.00+, and you can paint your hair accessories to match any outfit or to match you fingernails. They are easy to make,and you are only limited by your own creativity. It is almost fail proof. if you paint something you don’t like, just repaint it…In fact
