Have a Safe Independence Day!
This year we are testing out an idea we came across through Pinterest that will keep our little kids safe from sparkler sparks.
Using a punch, or even a kitchen knife, poke a hole in the bottom of a plastic cup.
Put the sparkler through the hole, handle goes inside of the cup.
Then you child can hold the sparkler handle inside of the cup, using the plastic cup as a protective armor against the sparkler spark.
Sparkler Fun Pin Test
As great as this test is we do have to share one of the cons
As the sparkler is nearing the end of its life, it comes very close to the plastic cup. The plastic then melts a bigger hole.
We are instructing our kids to be sure to hold back end of the sparkler stick and just let the cup fall down onto their hand- giving a little space between the end of the sparkler sparkly effect part and the beginning of the cup.
Enjoy this quick tip for a fun Fourth of July with Fireworks!
