I don’t know about you, but I always seem to wait till the last minute to figure out what I am doing. I am planning a
little get together for the fourth of July, and did a search on Pinterest for some last minute and easy to make for Independence day. One of the easiest pins I saw was for Patriotic Ice Cubes. The best part of this pin test is that I already had most of the items I needed at home!!!

All you need for these Patriotic Ice Cubes is 3 simple things…
Make your red and blue Kool-aid packs.
Pour each color into a separate Ice cube tray and freeze.
Add the frozen Kool-aid cubes to a glass of CLEAR soda…I chose Sprite.
(You could also use your favorite clear “Adult” Beverage)
This pin test worked beautifully! My kids loved watching the Red and Blue Ice cubes melt and turn purple. It was so fun to watch there excitement while the flavors changed! While this pin is great for Independence Day, you can use any flavor and color of Kool-aid to match the theme of your party!
